Privacy policy

How Arl Tech Ltd handles the information you share with us through this website, in plain language.

Last updated 17 October 2026

Who we are

This website is run by Arl Tech Ltd, a company registered in Uganda with offices in Nakawa, Kampala and Kaliro Road, Iganga. For anything in this policy, email [email protected].

This policy covers this website only. Systems we build or host for clients, including Arlvion, are covered by the agreement with each client.

What we collect

When you send a message through our contact form, we receive:

  • your name and email address
  • your organisation and phone or WhatsApp number, if you give them
  • the topic you choose and the message you write

If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send through those channels. WhatsApp messages are also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and the site does not set cookies for tracking. Your browser remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme; that setting stays on your device. Like any website, our hosting provider handles technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

How we use it

We use what you send to reply to you, understand what you need and prepare a proposal if you ask for one. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists unless you ask us to.

Who handles it for us

The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which also delivers contact-form messages to our mailbox. Our email is hosted by Zoho. These providers process information only to provide their services to us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Personal Data Protection Office.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
